This follows on from this DJIForum thread about cheap Chinese phones. However, the phone in question doesn't exactly fit this criterion. It's from Lenovo. It seems to have average–fairly good specs, so take a look at it on GSMArena.

3GB RAM; the Mediatek MT6739 SoC.
A-GPS
Android 8.0
Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU

Being cheap (around £70 for me [~$80]), I was wary at first but I had a look and am at ease now. Whaddya think? Could it handle GO 4? I'm highly tempted at the moment.

Does it have a compass?

If it doesn't, then orientation of your drone in go4 app, isn't accurate.

I thought that every modern smart device has a built-in electronic compass, until I bought a Lenovo tab 4 cellular.
Using this Lenovo tab, I realized also, that I cannot fly my Spark, using latest version of Go4 app. Video feed is useless.

Don't know if this Lenovo smartphone has the same issues, but be aware of the above, and check before buying.

There is a website somewhere that lists different phones compatibility ratings with using dji go 4. Might have to search for it but I remember the vast majority of samsung phones working fine. Maybe look for a used s3 or s4?
