Does the spark use cell phone date?

Sorry I’m very new at this drone stuff, if I have an iPad mini with just WiFi and no data service would that work with the Spark rc!?

Hi to add on to this topic, i have ipad mini with data but the map is not showing up in the app. Did I forgot to switch on something ?

hmm i thought you should only do the map caching if the ipad is wifi only. maybe a stupid question, but did you by chance have airplane mode on?

Since you cal fly the Spark without a cell phone, and it keeps records I suspect that it probably calibrates its own internal clock using GPS data. Keep in mind that GPS works based on (other things) very precise time information.

No. You can turn it off if you want to though.
