Try knocking your EV to -0.3 or -0.7 when the lighting is like this.
It will darken the overall picture and produce some spectacular effects/ draw out the definition of the clouds.
And always in post, add some saturation.

If everything is set (home point and good GPS fix) it is not going anywhere.
Open the camera settings and adjust the EV (exposure Value)
It was edited with Adobe Photo Shop. Just open the JPEG file. Click on "Image." Highlight "Adjustments." Select "Shadows/Highlights." The only things I adjusted were "Shadows" and "Highlights".
pmshop gave you much better advice. Learn to use the camera settings and you can take pictures that don't need to be Photoshopped, or if they do, the final pictures will be even better.
