Well, took a chance at a city location today, near the waterfront in Oakville, Ontario. Once I got the nerve up to get started, the wind picked up, and I could see more radio towers that were not so apparent from the ground. So, kept it low, and simply panned about, took a few photos, and went home feeling a tad wimpy.... I should have gone higher, but I could hear small aircraft from time to time, yet I was clear of all airports, aerodromes, seaplane bases and heliports.... Anyway, next time, we go up higher!

Skipped the music on this one, its very short.

Looks good.
I would have checked out that shed at 0:48
Also, sun was a bit low so that was limiting your field of oppritunity.
But all in all a good run.
More expereance.

Not very exciting... but I am nervous about confrontation now, in this sort of setting. Checked some bylaws about local parks, most around the city ban any motorized craft of any kind, so locations are not so easy to find. But I think each time I go up off the farm, it will get easier. I was ready with my rules printed out, and airmap at hand! Time of day was not ideal... If i had the height, you would have seem Lake Ontario and the Toronto city skyline. Next time indeed. Thanks for the kind words.

So I was also experimenting with this video in post. Tried out a tip that Steve Coutts mentioned in one of his videos.... In Final Cut Pro, you take the 29.97fps spark video into a 59.94fps timeline, set the rate conform to interpolation, then slow the clip to 80% of the original speed.... it does work, creates some smooth yaw effects.... Here is the result... you can compare to my first Flight 5 vid. Also at 60fps, but normal speed.

p.s. I did not use Tripod mode for any of this.

Good gosh, I swear it looks like a true 60FPS
But I am very tired and seeing things :D

Whoaaaa... I screwed up in my explanation, also tired! I did NOT use Steve's method for my Flight 5, I used this article to get my result.... How To Up-Convert 30fps to 60fps – Applaudience – Medium

However I did use some slow-mo on the second video, which may explain some of the glitches evident.

Apologies to Steve and all.... though I am going to mess with his method too.... Time for bed, dreaming of flights to come.
