Gimbal pitch

I have noticed that I can't make my camera go up past the horizon. On the screen it will shows "2 dots" up yet it will not go up further.

Meanwhile, if I take a pano shot, it does go up to take the necessary pictures.

Is that by design?

I've been asking the same question. Mine does the same but at it's highest point it seems to point directly straight forward even though it's still has some to go according to the DJI go 4 screen.

Spark cannot go more than the horizon. Go4 app is covering other drones which can do it, so it is why the scale is this way.
