Hello from the freezing cold north. Purchased a DJI spark as my first ever drone. With eyes on a Mavic2 later this year. This little guy takes some fantastic footage.

Hi neighbor - Spokane WA, USA here! The Spark will make you an instant "expert flyer" but be careful. If it loses GPS lock it will drift with the wind and your skills will be tested. I periodically practice with a $30 drone to hone my skills. Exciting times!

Welcome from Eastern Ontario's near north. Watch your height... you could be bumping into small aircraft at that level.

Fair Enough. I took off close to a mountain so pretty sure no aircraft fly close to the side of a mountain

Well according to the telemetry from the spark. i was only up 60m

i climbed halfway up a mountain and took off from there

nice, We were up in Rupert for a few days last summer while the ferry was broken down on our way to Haida Gwaii. It's Nice up there, going back for couple weeks in July.
I'm actually struggling to make my wife realize I need mavic 2 for this trip!!
