Hi all. I just joined the party. I don't have a Spark yet, but I am looking into getting one. I just sold both of my Phantom 3s. I was considering a Mavic, but while I like it and it has a better camera, the Spark fits into my price range much better!

Looking forward to learning more about the Spark and getting one soon.

Thanks,

Yaniv

Welcome to Spark Pilots! :)

While I am showing you my Mavic that I have for sale on Monday, I can demo a Spark for you. Are we still on for 10 or have you decided otherwise?

@Guzziknight – Welcome to the Spark Pilots forum. Whether you choose Spark or Mavic I'm sure you'll be happy either one. Or maybe just get both and make the decision easier! :D

I am also a new user and just found your post.
I assume by now, you have your Spark and have been flying.
Have you found any good areas around atlanta to fly? I know we have many restricted areas. I am in Dekalb county actually and flying a Spark.
Thanks ....Bill

Hey Bill,

I actually bought a Mavic, which I recently sold since I just wasn’t flying it much. I currently don’t have a drone, but will probably get another one in the next few months.

Plenty of good places to fly in the area. Piedmont Park at sunrise is good because there aren’t a lot of people there early.

I live up in Buford, so I found places up here and generally flew early to avoid people. AirMap is a great app to see if you’re good to fly in an area.

Thanks for info..just downloaded AirMap...very good app...probably gonna head east of town...looks like a lot of overlapping warning areas in the city...opens up further out. Need to find somone with a farm to let me fly...gonna work on it.. Good luck with new drone!

Hello, so what areas are you guys flying at in GA. I am also in buford area only really flew my drone around my neighborhood and Little Mulberry Park cause its a big open area, no one has bothered me about it so far.

Between the bad weather; and Cold Weather...have not done much flying. I am on the road to Augusta a lot and hope to try the Oconee National Forest area. Not exactly sure, so may just check it out first. Seems that once you get out of Atlanta Area...there are possibilites
