Just bought a spark yesterday!!! Haven't had a chance to fly yet but super excited! I've been interested in drones since the original phantom and when the spark came out I watched like a hawk. I've been waiting for it to go on sale and yesterday was time! Can anyone point me in a beginners guide (ie what conditions to fly under and what not to, side apps I might need for weather/wind speeds, and a map of restricted areas). Looking forward to joining the community!

Greetings from Canada. Head over to YouTube and check out any videos relating to getting started with the DJI Spark. Get yourself AirMap, UAVForecast (the free ones are fine) and learn how to use those before you fly. Be safe. Take it slow in beginner mode at least once. Good luck.

greeting, I too am in NJ. Northern NJ.
just keep her in sight and go slow for the first couple of flights.
Once you've been flying I find that it becomes very intuitive.
