Hi - new to the Spark and drones in general. I'm British, currently living in Germany and just about to head out to Nevada for a couple of years. Really impressed with the Spark so far - only had a couple of flights and still learning how to fly it before being able to think about the photos and videos I'm taking too much.

Question for the hive mind - how much detail will I need to provide in the US when flying in proximity to other airspace users? I was careful on my one flight not in my back garden to be nowhere near anything, but I may not have that luxury in the US.

I'm not exactly sure... I'm guessing location and altitude at a minimum, but was wondering if I needed to provide any further information?

Ah, so, you want to fly within 5 miles of an airport. Check out this article for more details on notifying nearby airports before flying.
