Initial set up

with my spark now on its way I wanted to check I had the correct list of what to do to set it up.
1. Battery is in hibernation, charging wakes it up.
2. The spark should be paired to the controller, will I need to unpaid it to register and update firmware? If so is that hold for 3 or 6 seconds?
3. It will need imu and compass calibration
4. Will I then need to repair it with the rc?

Anything else before I can safely fly it?

You should not need to unpair to activate, just be sure you connect your mobile device to the RC's wifi. You'll likely need a firmware update on both devices.

I've not calibrated the IMU or the compass on mine, and haven't had any issues. I'll probably calibrate the compass the next time I happen to be in an open area, but for now everything is working fine for me. YMMV.

Excellent, thanks. So I should be able to update both the spark's and the rc's firmware through the phone and rc? That makes life easier.
