FWIW, when flying a Spark, the only benefit of GPS on the mobile device is if you ever want to manually reset the home point to your current location after taking off (like in a scenario where you move away from the takeoff location).If you want gps you need a cellular version

I have it and never use it when flying my Spark.I dont have gps and dont miss it either.
Are there certain versions that wont update enough to run the dji apps on the 2's?iPad mini 2 works great with dji, and theyre cheap as well. If you want gps you need a cellular version
