Litchi app can you POI without waypoints?

I really want to have the use of a POI with the spark. But I also want to be able to freefly I know most people use litchi to plot courses I don’t want that I just want to freefly with POI. Can litchi help me do this?

But it still requires knowing some sort of flight path before hand? It won’t work how say the go 4 app works with a mavic air or pro?

No, you get your bird in the air.
Then set a poi on the map.
Then fly it like HomeLock/Headless and it will keep the poi in frame..
No mission creation needed.

Interesting ok, so litchi will be worth it for me? Otherwise I’ll just go buy a mavic pro or air

I totally agree. Litchi is a God-Send to Spark flyers. Just the built-in Screen Recorder to document your flight and the ability to fly in VR mode is worth it. An all-in-one app.
I use it for my FPV VR missions.

even the extended dji go 4 features on an air or pro can't compete with the possibilities of litchi.
Only active track seems to be more accurate in dji go 4.

Litchi will also connect to Airdata, and automatically sync your flightlogs.
This must be set up manually in the app.
Find "token" in Airdata account setting and inject this code in the app.
Offline creating missions on your computer (Mission Hub web) will automatically be uploaded to the app via the net and vice versa.
Log in via same credentials in both app and web for 2-way sync and backup.
