does anybody has or know where to look for any more information or records concerning planes hitting drones or drones falling on people or causing accidents etc etc?..
i know there is millions of drones being sold world wide so there has to be some kind of data or information to justify some of these laws and policy being put on drones.
thank you.

thanks, by now is safe to assume hobby drones should not be fear. millions of drones are being sold world wide not a single air craft accident, or major safety concern. and is also safe to say that a bird represents more danger than a drone when it comes to commercial aircraft. another incident was a phantom type drone that was flown over the streets of Manhattan by what look like a young teen after it smack into a few high rise windows it crash landed next to a person that person turn it in to the police and the media had a ball with it made it seem like Godzilla came to town . but these stories are very few,

The media is always going to latch onto anything they can sensationalize. Growing interest in drone operation wherein anybody with the money can buy and fly is bound to create issues if the user doesn't bother to learn the "rules of the road". The FAA could require registration at point of sale or proof of having passed a rules test before purchase. No one wants more regulation, but a few highly publicized albeit rare events could bring it about.
