Lost signal from remote.

Flying the other day and remote dropped the signal. RTH function was lost.
Lucky I was not to far away and did not lose site. Was able to fly it back.
Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what is the solution.

I once experienced a remote disconnection. Spark hovered in place for a few seconds after which RTH kicked in. I regained control again a bit later.

To clarify, you lost signal between drone and controller, or viewing device and controller ?
Your comment RTH was 'lost', and then next line you say you were close, in VLOS, and able to fly it back.

Maybe it was a drone - controller problem and you moved closer to regain signal ?
You lost vision on your viewing device ? (Or maybe you were just flying with controller ?)

I had a signal problem from my spark repair company said couldn't repair because of intermittent signal loss no other explanation was given. Had the cost of repair refunded don't know why they couldn't fix it very strange. Going to another company a DJI repairer. Will keep you informed.

Hope it gets sorted have loads of DJI parts including 4 batteries
