A neat rock formation on the border of the Mexican Mountain Wilderness Study Area in Eastern Utah. Millions of years ago it was probably a glob of mud at the bottom of a sea.

Nice control of the Spark.

A glob of mud indeed.

It's something to think about when standing in a valley looking up at the cliffs and knowing that sea shell fossils are in the rock up there.

Not that it matters, but from afar, without being able to touch the formation, I’d guess it’s sandstone. If those curved lines are trough crossbeds that’s is. But hey, I wasn’t there. Nice video by the way.
