My dji go 4 is telling me gimbal overload

So when this happens does the gimbal automatically shut down the pitch axis because my Pitch is not working anymore

Yes. Every time I've had a "gimbal overload" warning the pitch became unresponsive (with camera stuck in downward position). After landing and power cycling, however, normal function was restored every time.

I would only get problem when using cheap filters in Sport Mode. The combination of increased wind resistance and added weight were just too much for the mechanism -- it shuts down to protect itself. A set of quality lightweight Polar Pro filters completely eliminated this issue.
