What is the addy mode and why does it pop up random in flight. Or how can I fix it

Atti, or Attitude mode is simply your Spark is basically in your control. Downward sensors help it maintain its altitude, but GPS is off. Meaning the slightest of breezes can carry it away. Meant mostly for flying indoors where the outside elements are not present. If it pops up in normal flight there must be something causing interference. Are you flying around metal objects or in highly developed areas where multiple wifi networks are close by?

“The aircraft will revert to ATTI mode when GPS signal is weak, or when the compass experiences interference where the Vision System is unavailable. In ATTI mode, the aircraft is easily affected by its surroundings, which may result in horizontal shifting.

In ATTI mode, the Vision System and some advanced features are disabled. Therefore, the aircraft cannot position or auto-brake in this mode. Please land in a safe place as soon as possible to avoid hazards. Avoid flying in areas where GPS signal is weak, or in confined spaces. The aircraft will otherwise be forced to enter ATTI mode, leading to a potential flight hazard.”

There’s also an OPTI Mode. I don’t recall seeing it anywhere in the manual; however, clarification can be found here: Opti vs Atti Mode?
