Hi. Please help. Only flew once since purchase. I always find this thing a little complex to handle. Please help.

When I open the DJi app. on top in yellow it shows No Positioning (Atti). and It hovers over the ground and sometimes goes left or right but sometime it does not.

Also when I click on quick shot it says quick shot cannot be turned on since there is no GPS. Also sometime when I click lunch it says weak GPS.

What to do? attaching some pictures if it helps.

From your photos, it looks like you are launching inside your house. That would explain the no GPS. If you go outside then you will likely get a GPS lock. Also trying to to run a quick shot inside a house is not a good idea - it needs space and GPS.

Hi Krauser, welcome to the forum.

You are inside a building, and likely not to be able to receive GPS, take it outside to test with open sky.

No vision positioning is because you haven't taken off.
Take off and the sensors SHOULD pick up floor patterns and activate, the floor generally needs a decent pattern, not a solid floor without anything it can distinguish.
You might be in atti for a short while, so . . .

If you are a new pilot, I would certainly advise NOT to fly inside for now.
The best place is outside, sunny, still day, big open, flat area (like a park, sports oval etc), and take it in small steps.
Don't take off until the lady tells you home point recorded.

Do yourself a huge favour and read you manual thoroughly back to back, maybe twice going through menus / settings etc with the drone on a table, props off.
Get familiar with setting RTH, and other such.
This is the link to the full PDF manual, I saved mine for my 2 drones onto my device and desktop, so I could review as often as I wished, or found I needed to know something in the settings / menus.

SPARK MANUAL PDF

Then, look at a few of these videos . . .

Enjoy. The Spark is very easy to fly, very stable even in wind that affects the newer mini / mini 2, and very robust in build, gimbal etc.

Hello from the Hoosier Heartland Krauser.

Looks like you're getting great help so far. ?

Welcome to the Forum.

if you are near anything metal or with a magnetic field like even a computer, Big flat screen TV's with other electronic like a cable box, set top box, DVR ...etc. Go outside and do the calibrations there are 2, i think it's like the IMU and Compass. Are you using a controller or your phone. if phone only i would HIGHLY recommend getting a remote control to prevent fly aways. you can use all 3 remote, phone and spark, just phone w/o a remote is not a good idea. you can find a lot of instructional videos on youtube.
