OTG cable hookup to remote

I mean the Android settings.

What is your start up process for it to work?

This is what I do:

1) Power up the Remote Control
2) Power up the Spark
3) Wait for green light on RC to confirm the RC and Spark are connected/bound
4) Plug in OTG cable to phone and open DJI GO4 app
5) Plug in OTG to RC
6) Wait for the DJI GO4 app to show connected and press the fly button

Note: my phone is always in airplane mode

I will give that a go next time I fly. I take it the phone is in Airplane mode?

The order you power up and connect devices is critical. The steps in prior posts in this thread are exactly same as what I use and very reliable

But nothing works if you use the wrong manufacturer of the cable!!!

I have learned the hard way that many cables with proper connectors at each end still wouldn't give a signal. I don't know if it's loose connection or bad contact or cheap wiring. I think iPhone / iPad needs proper circuitry for lightening end to work right

After munch trial and error these are ones that work for me. And they were heavy duty braided for only $8!

Cheers,
I actually got this working in my flat the other day. Not taken the Spark out since to test in the real world. I bought the same cable from Amazon UK. Thanks for your help.

Doesn't developer mode need to be enabled for Android? I don't have mine at the moment to verify.
