So I usually send my spark out every morning to take sunrise photos to post on FB. It's easy, and nobody minds so much that the resolution is "low". Most people around here see it on phones anyway, so it doesn't need 4k and RAW and PHOTOSHOP. :)

I send it out, take my pics, come back... download the images onto my iphone (via SD card reader dongle thing). Run it through snapseed and post. Easy peasy... :)

Online marketplaces here still price a second hand Spark FMC at about US$150. But every now and then someone prices a set at about $100... hmmm... do I start stockpiling Sparks now? Decisions, decisions. Just spoke to my drone tech about possibly getting a NEO if I'm having this much fun with the Spark... he said to not bother. Apparently, he's been getting a ****-ton of NEOs in for repairs after crashes. He claims they are unstable? Or just the typical new wave of pilots just going through the early stages of figuring out how to fly? ****. I was really starting to want one. Oh well.

I have a NEO and it flies fine.
It's no SPARK but I like it.

The crashes are most likely pilot error (Read the manual).

It doesn't like low light conditions and people fly it in a dark environment which may bring chaos to the flight.

I've crashed a few times with no damage but I'm a conservative flyer and don't go to the extreme.

The NEO can be flown FPV style with the proper remote and goggles that may result in a crash if inexperienced with FPV.

Check out the NEO Forum for additional information from NEO pilots.
