Hi
I need your technical expertise. I am a newbie to quad racing and I use my DJI RE (racing edition) goggles' analog mode to fly my tiny whoops. A friend recommended the Video Aerial Systems VAS Mad Mushroom V2 5.8GHz SMA Antenna - RHCP or LHCP to put on these goggles. Alas, the antenna could not fit the goggles. So I ordered a RF RP-SMA Male to SMA Female Adapter but this is not the correct adapter. I emailed GetFPV for advice and this is what they (very kindly) replied:
This is the first time I've looked into this - I'm pretty surprised by this.
They've made this intentionally difficult by going against the standard of threads inside for antennas, and threads outside for the device.
You'll need an adapter we don't stock - basically externally threaded at both ends, and with a pin on one side, and a hole on the other.
This may exist, but we don't stock it. You may find it mentioned in a DJI forum online, or in the thread going for these goggles on RCGroups.com.
Could you help me locate the correct adapter?
Thanks a lot!
