Yes they do spin on start up.

How does the motor(s)start without spinning the props??

pull the sticks down

Pull to the center at the same time while pulling down on both sticks.

Read your manual with pictures instructing how to do so.

Oops sorry yeah my bad. I meant along the lines of it won't take off until you push the stick up.

i am unable to do this the motors do not start when u pull the sticks down!!!

if you received your spark and controller together they should be paired from the factory. turn on the RC turn on your spark after a minute or so the red led on the RC goes to green, then pull both sticks down and away from the outside of the controller ..so towards the center line that passes between both sticks. otherwise no green led , they are not paired.
