RC Controller blinking red and rapidly beeping

Anyone else have this problem? I've had the Spark for a month now, just got the controller and it was fine until yesterday out of nowhere. I pulled it out to use the drone to take footage while walking, and the controller starting going crazy.
I can't find any threads to fix the problem, you have to press the Pause, function and upper back button (can't remember the name) to turn off the **** thing.
I cannot get the green button to show anymore.
any help would be appreciated.

You should try to restore the connection to your Spark by holding the power button on (the Spark) for three beeps I believe and see if re-establishing the connection fixes the issue. If not, it could be a hardware failure ... good luck .. let us know what happens!

It does connect to the Spark, the controller just won't stop beeping and flashing the red light. It also disconnects, so I won't dare to fly it until I figure this issue out. I will try that however. Thank you for responding!!! much appreciated.
