I created this video over the course of the weekend - most of it was filmed within an area of just about a dozen square yards. I wanted to capture not only the landscape under the canopy of this mossy alder forest near Mt. St. Helens, but also the tiny microscopic world that you can just barely see with the naked eye. I've always been fascinated by the complex jungles of mosses that cover everything here in the Pacific Northwest! The drone footage starts halfway in at 1:54, the first half of the video was shot with my Canon 80D and a 60mm 2:1 super macro lens mounted on a slider.
