I'm working on a few projects to help DJI pilots develop their own flight checklists. If you're using a flight checklist before or after your flights and don't mind sharing it with others, please post it below.

I have a short, to the point list on my mini4.

Along with metric conversion charts.?

This is the one I put together, have it on a laminated card in spark bag.
Spark Pre-Flight check list :
Prior to leaving for site:
  • Batteries in Spark, RC & phone all charged.
  • Check propellers un-damaged and mounted securely.
  • Check “UAV Forecast” for weather and flight restrictions.
  • Check SD card has sufficient space left.

At flight site:
  • Find a flat open surface to take off from.
  • Check battery inserted securely and battery clip in place.
  • Make sure there are no trees or power lines that will get in the way of flight.
  • Check “RTH” altitude will be suitable for location.
  • Remove Gimbal Cover.
  • Unfold Propellers.
  • Turn on Remote Controller then Spark
  • Connect OTG Cable
  • Shut down all unwanted apps & then run “Fly Spark” Shortcut App :
• Switch phone to airplane mode.
• Set “Do Not Disturb” ON
• Increase screen brightness & volume settings to max.
• Start DJI GO 4 App.
  • With everything connected and talking to each other, start flight.
  • For Precision landing to be available, Rise vertically and hover at about 8m until home point is recorded.
  • Fly.

Have printed Grant’s out and will carry with me, but sure there will be refinements suggested by other contributors. Great topic to start up.

Thanks a lot for this topic. A few more points to consider in the CHECKLIST below:
AT HOME:
Batteries (drone, RC, phone charged)
Weather (rain, fog, wind forecast) Zone (flight restrictions)
Map (update local details)
SD card (sufficient space)
Plan flight (modes, distance, altitude, route, limits, emergency)

AT SITE:
Phone (restart, flight mode, brightness max, volume max, flight app)
Terrain (obstacles, interference sources, people)
Inspect drone (propelers extended, batterys locked, sensors clean)
Connect OTG cable RC-Phone
Turn on RC, then Spark
Check compass (calibrate if needed)
WiFi (check channels congestion/interference 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz)
Sensors (check IMU & compass status)
Strong GPS (green)
Position antennas (optimal transmission range)
TAKEOFF
Homepoint set (assend vertically and hover at about 7m for 20s)
Test controls
Start video recording
FLY within VLOS
Monitor signal strenght, batteries & map
LAND
Stop video recording
Turn off drone, then RC
Pack equipment
Share with others (video and experience;)
