I have tried and tried and done a lot of research and still can only fly my spark 100 meters from me before dc this is really getting annoying i basically have bought a $1200 aud paper weight as i bought it to bring on holiday and cant really use it for what i want

Try putting the phone in airplane mode.

Or if not using otg cable, turn on wifi after switching to airplane mode (iOS, not sure what the sequence is with droid)

Try unplugging otg cable from rc, then turn on rc and then spark, wait for the red light on the rc to turn green, then plug otg cable back into rc. Device you are using should now be able to use dji go 4 app.

Important, especially on the iphones.. Turn off Bluetooth
