Spark controller cannot save setting

I need help. I am trying to customize the 2 extra buttons on controller, however every time I restart the controller and ipad, it goes back to default.

I am using IPad 4 mini via OTG cable, latest firmware. Did I miss out anything ?

No, it is so. OTG is not supported by dji and there are some limitations like that. OTG is for their Google. With wifi link it is kept.

Maybe try exiting the GO app before powering down the spark or controller. This will allow the GO app to write settings.

Not working for me either. Only way is to have wifi enabled. Time for a refund.

Tried all combination, exit app first, etc but still no hope. Hope DJI support this for Spark in the next update, this is important as many of us trust direct connection rather than via wifi. Just curious, are you all using wifi connection or still connect through OTG cable? Seem like it is still working even it is not supported yet.

I have the same problem, but once I evaluated all of the customization options I came to the conclusion that none of them were really useful to me anyway...

I find gimbal straight down/forward is the only one useful, because I've set gimbal speed to be really slow.

Hopefully it'll be fixed in future firmware updates.

On iOS with OTG you will lose the custom buttons everytime.
