Spark does flips now.

The Spark's motors will stop if it is turned 90 degrees on its side. Palm land and turn your wrist over. The motors will stop.I see no reason a Spark can't flip in sport mode.......
I haven't tried, though......

AP = Aerial Photography - DJI Drones were initially developed as AP drones and still continues to be their primary focus even today.

I,d forgotten about that......................
I totally get this part. I've owned DJI drones for a long time.
But I haven't seen anyone refer to them as "AP".

Its a very common term used both on many drone message boards as well as locally (to me). Not only do I fly AP drones and have for ages, but I also fly/race FPV Drones. More so when flying FPV drones do we use the abbreviation "AP" when explaining to the general public the differences between what we are racing and what they typically see on TV...
I started in FPV race drones, and in those forums when referring to camera platform drones, the term AP ( aerial photography) is commonly used to differentiate the two.
