Spark flew away while using controller only! How do i find it?

The only time I've ever attempted to fly with RC only was indoors, with the intention of learning to fly unaided without the risk of injuring someone, damaging someone else's property, or losing my Spark.

**** thing would not take off!

Ended up flying indoors with the app connected which was fine anyway as it was all ATTI mode.
