Don't forget about the slider right below 'stick mode' in the remote controller settings as well... the slightest tweak off the farthest right hand position will slow 'er down significantly, even in sport mode. I'd pulled mine to the center for my wife to practice her skills at one point and forgot I'd done so. Suddenly, I'm *creeping* along in P-GPS mode at maybe 3 or 4 mph, and pulling perhaps 12 to 15 mph in sport mode (plz don't hold me to those exact numbers, it's been a while). After a few frustrating minutes, the "duhhh detector" went off in my head. Sure enough, as soon as I pulled the slider back to the far right, the zip-zoom was back where it should be (30+ mph in sport mode).
As I typically never have reason to enter the controller settings, it just wasn't in the front of my brain. Also, being used to my devo7 remote to fly a couple of 3d collective pitch helis, that particular setting is a little odd for me to start with. I'd prefer some actual expo settings, but like the old saying goes, "wish in one hand...".
That slider is definitely nice to have for inexperienced pilots though, or even as a manually tweakable tripod mode of sorts. When its set to the far left, it'll barely make 2 mph in P-GPS (can't recall how slow it was in sport mode at the moment, but, its significant).
Hopefully, this helps someone from racking their brains at some point! Happy flying yall
