Spark - Software Upgrades

Am I missing something ?

When I first had my Spark, I planned to use my nexus 7 with an otg cable - after spending what seemed like forever, nothing was working so I asked for help. Advice received suggested a software downgrade to version 4.1.15 and NOT to update on the nexus. Did just that and all worked.

As all still works, do I really need to update the software and if so, why ?

As I know, OTG-support for Spark is coming back in DJI Go version 4.2.12 and later. You can install new version and try. In any case, you can always get back to 4.1.15. But, in my opinion, if 4.1.15 is good for You - no need to change to another version.

If everything is working, no reason to update.

Thanks - just question why Dji would ask you to update the firmware when by doing so nothing happens !
