Spark Transmission Mode for Telemetry and Control?

Does the Spark transmit both telemetry and control signal on same frequency depending on which one is chosen(2.4 or 5.8 )? The Standard I fly uses 5.8 for control and 2.4. for telemetry.

Yes, same frequency. As it uses WiFi, it uses the WiFi protocols.
