Sport mode on Smartphone (Iphone)?

Hej Guys, maybe a stupid question, but is it possible to turn on the sport mode on a smartphone? the **** thing is to slow.

Was out today to "try" it the new firmware, and by 50m alt it lost signal completely, the same with longitudinally dist. max 50m and lost signal, couldnt even reconnect with the drone it just came back to homepoint.

No. Sport mode can only be enabled using the switch in the center of the Spark remote controller.

That's precisely why control speed is limited.

Possibly. I wouldn't use it in the first place.

When using a Iphone or Smartphone to control Your Spark, the range is
about 100 meters (300ft).
In Sport mode the Spark can get up to about 50 km/h, about 15 m/s..
So in sport mode, You will lose contact, if at full pelt, in about 6 sec.

If the saprk loses contact with phone, it will return to home after 30 sec..

After possibly a flight (uncontrolled) of about 500 meters/ 1500 ft..

I think it is good, that the "sportmode" button is on the RC, and not in the phone..

Saves Your heart from a lot of stress..

And makes Your flights more safe and controlled..

The latest FW limits phone-only control to 50m. So, lost in 3...2.....1.....
