Stored battery charging

I've left my Spark on the shelf for a few weeks and the batteries have gone into storage state.

Is it preferable for battery life to let them enter storage mode or keep them regularly topped up just in case I need to grab a quick flight?

It's better to keep them in the storage range while they are not being used. See more details here:

Once in that range, it won't take too long to top them off before a flight.
