Just been playing around with it since buying a couple of weeks ago. Just getting used to editors and resolutions etc. Not there yet!

Nice, did you get any grief up on the moors?

I've got to the point round here (down south) of only going out early morning or late evening because there's usually always some moron who comes up to you and starts ranting about you invading their privacy, especially if you're on EH or NT managed land - although I did have to laugh once at the local park when some loony mother came up and started ranting about spying on them with the camera in the drone as I was stood directly under the CCTV tower, I just pointed up at the 15 cameras pointed at her and told her where to shove her privacy...

Ian, like you I am going early or late and there are often other people up there flying. I do try to avoid people but the one at Biddulph was just about wanting to capture the colours and couldnt resist, would normally avoid NT properties.

Yeah last time I flew at an NT property I got asked to stop by one of the volunteers, so I went back to the car and dragged out my non-powered glider, amazingly the guy actually knew the regs and left me alone after that, yet both had cameras on, it was the noise that they object to.

Funny thing I saw on YouTube last week was a guy (maybe he is a member here?) who did some flights over NT and EH properties but because he took off from public property and stayed 50 meters above them out of hours, he complied perfectly with the law / ANA, and these new laws coming in end of next month actually make it easier for us hobbiests to fly over private property which is hilarious since they were supposed to tighten up the regs haha.
