i charged the controller today using the iphones power supply and the power supply got hot and the controller stopped charging, when i let the ps cool and plugged it back in it would continue to charge, do u guys use one with more amps?

I charge it with straight from the USB-output from the charger for the battery charging hub. I also charged it with the USB port of my laptop.

That is what I do.
I don't rush things when it comes to ole Sparky.
No high amp chargers.
However, looking through the charger specs I found this:
5 V/3 A; 9 V/2 A; 12 V/1.5 A
So it doesn't make sense why the iPhone brick would get hot.
Stock is much lower amp charge than 3A

thanks, didn’t know or think about charging it with the hub, i’ll try that next time,
yess definitely its best to charge a battery slow than fast and having it get hot, thats why i used the little brick when i have high speed chargers, i didn’t want to charge it fast,

thanks guys
