i charged the controller today using the iphones power supply and the power supply got hot and the controller stopped charging, when i let the ps cool and plugged it back in it would continue to charge, do u guys use one with more amps?
That is what I do.
I don't rush things when it comes to ole Sparky.
No high amp chargers.
However, looking through the charger specs I found this:
5 V/3 A; 9 V/2 A; 12 V/1.5 A
So it doesn't make sense why the iPhone brick would get hot.
Stock is much lower amp charge than 3A

yess definitely its best to charge a battery slow than fast and having it get hot, thats why i used the little brick when i have high speed chargers, i didn’t want to charge it fast,
