What wind speed triggers the 'wind velocity warning' alert?

I was flying today in high gusts, but didn't check beforehand what the gusts were lol. Does anyone know when the wind alert is triggered?

As per the instruction in the manual, we are not supposed to fly at wind speed above 10m/s or 36km/hr.
Regarding the trigger in the app, I don`t think the Spark measures the wind speed directly to give the alert.
I think the alert comes depending on the load on the motors to work against the wind and maintain the AC's position.

I use uav forecast and dark sky to monitor wind speeds aloft and general weather stuff both seem accurate

UAV Forecast is a "must have" app. It allows you to check conditions in advance and has saved me many wasted trips. I find that it is an extremely accurate predictor for the upcoming 8 hours but no more than that.

If I get the "High Wind Velocity" I'll lower my altitude. A second warning and I'm landing to wait out the winds for a few minutes.

Even the Mavic Pro can get taken away by unexpectedly high winds. The MP Forum is ripe with those stories so the Spark is even more susceptible. Until I started flying I had no idea how much stronger winds can be just 400' above me.

This is very good advice. I was flying into the wind at about 150ft and suddenly my Spark just drifted with the wind for a few seconds to the degree I lost vis on it. I watched it fly over me and didn’t think to reduce height. If you still have control do what this advice says.

The maximum wind speed that the drone can tolerate is determined by the tilt limits that are set in the parameters section of the drone's firmware. The amount of tilt is what ultimately triggers the high wind warning. I believe the default limits are 20 degrees in normal mode and 35 degrees in atti or sport mode. Wind speeds that require more than the tilt limits to overcome will result in unwanted downwind drifting and possible loss of the drone. Emergency braking will tilt up to 50 degrees, but that is the only exception.

Andre Levite's recommendation to use UAV Forecast before flying is the best information you are likely to get on this subject. I never, that is NEVER EVER, fly without checking UAV Forecast. There are a lot of days I don't fly, but I am grateful to be able to say, "I still have all of the drones I am supposed to have."
