Youtube quality

When I view this same file I uploaded on youtube, the initial focus seems to be fuzzy and refocusing until it gets close to the trees, yet on my computer the same file looks fine from beginning to end.

Both the same file, not a cache. Both are running 1080p

Any ideas why? Or does the whole thing look okay on your youtube viewing?

YouTube compresses it. Still at 1080p but with some loss. As you are uploading, a popup comes up telling you on how to process your files to get them uploaded faster. I doubt if anyone ever does it, but still it will never be the exact same quality after posting. Thats why most youtubers will post “Better if watched at 1080 or 4k.”
Oh and I doubt the 1080 link is shown here. I may be wrong.
