Thanks for your kind comments. While I don't have the flying and video editing skills of VicVideoPIC I lovegoing to nice places and recording my memories.
Some footage of the amazing sceneries of Iceland. Unfortunately most of the "top tourist attractions" are forbidden for drones now, but there are still some nice places left to get some airtime for Sparky.
Enjoy!
AFAIK the range depends only on the signal quality between your aircraft and your remote so I would be very surprised if the software on your phone could change this, apart from switching to FCC mode which neither of the two softs do. Does anybody in these youtube videos present a somewhat...
I am quite sure that ther is no app that can turn on your drone since the app can not communicate with the drone while it is turned off. You would need a little robot arm to push the botton ;)
On Android, Red Waypoint was free, but it seems that the free version is now limited to five waypoints. Might be enough for what you search to accomplish.
You're sure about this ? From my experience it's the other way round : when you bring cold stuff in a warm environment you get condensation (people wearing glasses know this). Warm objects in an cold environment should stay perfectly dry (that's why you blow warm air on your cold windscreen to...
I do not now about the US, but in most countries it is indeed mandatory to have a spotter by your side who watches the drone while you are flying with FPV goggles
I am also a happy Smartree V2 user since several months. I lost my flymore DJI craddle and therefore I am doing all my battery charging with it. Works very well at home and on the go. I did not experience any unnormal heating (let alone fires). And unlike the Dji charger you can charge 3...
Also flying with an S7, no issues works fine. As far as I understand the drone, sports mode should be independent of the phone, that's a hardware switch on the remote. Should work even if you switch off your phone... haven't tried it yet however ;)
Anything larger than 200mm won't fit, Mi Pad is exactly 200.2mm. It is possible to force it in, but I do not have a good feeling about it, I'll be getting a mount.
Did my first flights with the Mi Pad. Everything seems to work fine, both with DJI Go an Litchi. I did same basic flying and a waypoint mission with Litchi. Screen contrast in bright sunlight is not too bad, but of course my galaxy S7 OLED screen is better in this respect. The tablet hardly fits...
