    Goggles help - reviewing photos/video

Tools > Playback ... of course. Thanks. Looks like I’ll still need a card reader to get those images copied to my IPhone camera roll for the purpose of editing/posting “on the road”.( I don’t have a computer with me.)

    Goggles help - reviewing photos/video

How do we review / dl footage captured during a goggle flight ? Nothing appears in my DJI Go 4 app - it’s obviously disconnected during the flight, but it doesn’t add footage afterwards. I gather it’s stored on the SD card but I’m looking for a solution that doesn’t require buying a Apple...

    Western Australia

Wow that is a big drive ! So I am Adelaide born and bred but have lived in Perth since 2006. It’s home now. That is indeed an Ultimate - this trip is a delivery of sorts. Dad bought the camper new in 2005 and he’s “lending” it to me on an extended basis. So we put my car on the train the flew...

    Western Australia

That was SA - just after Head of the Bight. If you look closely in the 3rd pic you can see our camper trailer and 4WD. It wasn’t too windy so I managed to get to 120m and 500m away. Furthest I’ve ever flown :)

    New pilot Western Australia

Hi everyone. Finally bought myself a Spark today having flown one (happily) about 12 months ago. I also owned an Airdog v1 back in the day before a friend crashed and sunk it. I have a camping trip coming up at the end of April and wanted to be able to get some aerial videos of the kids and camp...

    Awesome first experience

Hi Nicholas, What you describe is what I’m using. Micro USB to USB from crontrolelr, then USB to lightning for the phone connection. Each flight uses around 30 % of my 3 year old iPhone battery. I think the fact th iPhone is 3 years old and battery probably only 75% of its new capacity is...

Ok. Ill double check but I don’t think we can have many options with the cable - it has a mini USB plug which can only plug into the RC, The iPhone end requires. lightning plug so they can’t be swapped or reversed. Others have said this is normal for IPhone and you need a full charge to fly a...

    Awesome first experience

Thanks everyone. I’ve just discovered the OTG cable seems to charge the controller from the phone, and absolutely smashes my iPhone 6 Plus battery. The RC controller had been on charge all night but when I flew this am, my iPhone went from 35% to 1% within minutes. The iPhone is a couple...

    Awesome first experience

We will see. I do a lot of light wind kiting under 15 knots on hydrofoils and the Spark should be fine with that. Most guys here use mavics in stronger winds than that - up to 20kts I think.

    Awesome first experience

Cool thanks. I’m not sure the FAA are too concerned seeing as I’m not in the United States. Our regulator in Australia is CASA and our rules are a bit more relaxed unless I am carrying on a business and charging for my services. 3 catergories - recreation <150kg (!), commercial <2kg, commercial...

    Awesome first experience

As a long time lurker I know forums are usually the place people turn to to share their problems and seek help. The impression given hence is that everyone is having problems with their drones, so I just thought I’d post to say today was my first day with a Spark and I think it’s awesome ...
