So you stretched it ? Interesting, you'd think that this would distort the image. I'd been resizing the canvas and anchoring the original ICE pano to the bottom and filling up the top with an approaching color.

No actually. I did everything he did, except stretching the picture. Instead, I just filled the top half (which was all blank) with photoshop predictive fill
