A slight modification to my controller... ?

I need to make a slight modification to my controller - when it holds my phone, sometimes the buttons on the inboard side get arbitrarily pressed (sometimes together), resulting in a disruption on the screen.

I'm thinking of gluuing a small piece of plastic on the controller to keep the phone away from that point. Has anyone else had or solved this issue?

Try a better phone mount that gives you adequate clearance between phone and controller.

I trimmed the rubber grips with a razor blade but only the ones that hit the button.

I had a similar problem because RC blocked my phone's home button and also its power switch.

Recently I am using an inexpensive phone mount. Attaching a sun shade easier now too. It's an extra step to set up but more enjoyable flying.
