The town of Prince Rupert where I am on is actually on an island. Our airport is on another island.
This video is dedicated to our airport ferry.
I had so much fun both getting the footage for this and also in the editing room.

My background music is by the great Canadian band "Trooper"
They actually wrote this song about our town when they were playing here long ago.
Mostly because of how much rain we get here. So naturally when the rain stops the drones are a flyin.

Reminds me of a snowmobile trip to Drummond Island, Michigan U.P.

The ferry boat runs year round (video clip) to get to the island, even when the bay is frozen.

The sound of all the giant chunks of ice banging against the hull is a little nerve racking at first, but you get use to it.
