Atti mode and Pause Button

Has anyone had their spark go into atti mode and press the pause button. Assuming the drone has lost gps, I’m wondering would the spark stop immediately and hover. anyone?

It ATTI mode, it doesn't have the information it needs to hover. It can stop moving through the air, but it can't account for the motion of the air it's not moving through. It's almost as dumb as a quadcopter toy. If it can get to "Position" mode, it can do better.

It would be nice if the Spark had a "Headless" mode switch, so no matter the orientation of the Spark, the sticks will fly the Spark to you.

Cheaper drones have this function.

Trying headless mode always led to a crash. And toy drones are inexorably drawn to automobiles.

What is the solution for ATTI mode Mine keeps going into ATTI Mode.
I cannot return the spark to DJI for exchange to a new Mavic Air or something.

I want to keep using the spark.
