I am looking at a back up spark that comes with one battery and maybe an extra controller.
My question is... can I used the same 4 battery's I already have in the second Spark with out
any issues or are they specific to one Spark ?
Thanks for any info !

Remotes are bound to specific ACs though.
Remote controllers are also interchangeable after relinking them with the new aircraft.

Thanks Guys, I should have worded it better, Yes that is what I was concerned about if the firmware from one the the other unit would affect anything
I was just told how stupid this old guy was on the FB spark forums. oh well. anyways thanks for not being mean to me :)
I also was planing on a second remote so I wouldn't have to keep re-linking all the time , but maybe its not that much of a hassle.
My Original Spark is at DJI and I really miss it. not sure how lone it will take to get back.

That's why I no longer hang out in FB forums ;)

As long as the FW on the batteries is the same as the AC, they will work fine.
Some people complain about having to link RCs. Imagine if you didn't have to do this. You are flying and along comes another pilot flying his AC and his RC is also controlling your AC. That would be a real mess!!
