Hello from the Hoosier Heartland, DAN PORAT.

Flip the switch and hang on:).

Sport Mode is the next step after flying around normal.

Just be sure your Home Point has been established and the Obstacle Avoidance is ON at first.

The Spark will fly a little faster when the OA is turned OFF.

Welcome to the Forum.

Is it still stable on sport mode? just over-all it seems like a real stable aircraft. So.... I can go off beginner, then later in flight if I choose to.... I can RTH provided I had one set which I would.... and back on easy street.....? lol

Sport Mode is stable, but punchy.

Allow yourself plenty of air space for turning and stopping.

The camera locks in FPV position and the recorded video isn't the best at that speed and the two axis gimbal.

You can flip the Sport Mode switch when in flight anytime.

It's useful too. You can fly to the POI quickly, flip to normal mode, photograph your interest, then fly back again in Sport Mode.

thank you very much.....that makes sense and what I was looking to learn.

Lots of good advice above.

Just wanted to emphasize three common reasons for crashes:

1. Sport Mode disables Obstacle Avoidance
2. Sport Mode greatly increases stopping distance when sticks released
3. Turning off OA on regular mode allows greater cruising speed -- but if you lose line of site the chances of collision greatly increased

Happy flying
