Never mind, my show sponsor said stay away from App mods. I just asked DJI if they would do a firmware update for Spark and include Point Of Interest Intelligent Flight Mode. All the other DJI Drones have it! DJI How about giving this one handed stroke survivor POI for Spark? What this go4 app mods all about?

1. No. Litchi does not "kill your warranty". In fact, DJI provides developers with a SDK (Software Developer Kit) specifically for the purpose of creating third-party apps such as Litchi. It is available in the official Android Play Store and Apple App Store. It is NOT a firmware hack.
2. Yes. Litchi costs about $23 and it's worth every penny. Very unlikely DJI will update their Go App to include waypoints for Spark at this point. So you are getting features reserved for Mavic Air and Mavic Pro without spending hundreds more. That's a bargain.
3 The original poster inquired about "app modes". This was obviously a typographical error as the questions related directly to APP MODS.
I've also had a replacement drone issued which was the result of a Litchi Waypoint mission "gone bad". Similar turn around time. Canada to Texas back to Canada within 2 weeks. As long as you recover your drone you're getting a replacement under Care Refresh. (I guess unless you use hacked software like Mod Go4)DJI Refresh covered me both times. Once with Litchi and first time with Go App. Had it back in ten days. No questions asked. It is no fault coverage
DJI Susan explains it well. (They like us crashing and purchasing DJI Care Refresh and Care Extend = return business and jobs for techies as well as product inventory in/out)If you crash while using 3rd party software, then you are NOT covered.
This has been asked of and answered by DJI dozens of times.
Yes, it is DJI's SDK but DJI is NOT responsible for what a 3rd party does with that SDK.
Litchi height limit of 2000metres???

Other warnings are out there in multiple threads concerning Litchi or any other 3rd party app.
