first day doing some real flying and all went well. Had only done a couple of quick tests before. Spark with RC, iPhone 5S OTG in airplane mode
Power up sequence: Spark, RC, when green light connect the phone, get message about accessory not supported, open app. If app was open before connecting cable it didn't connect. Made sure home point was recorded before take off and kept antenna perpendicular to drone location at all time
Used 3 batteries although not in the same spots so flights were not right after another. Max distance about 1200' a few times, 150' height at the most.
All takeoffs from top of bag on beaches, instead of landing on sand grabbed drone and flipped upside down to shut off
So far so good. Still a little worried about taking off from the boat but will get over it eventually
