Goggle Choice

I am new to the DGI Spark and because of my age have a problem trying to see the picture on the phone. I want a set of goggles to use that have P.I.P. because I wear glasses and a fan to remove moisture.

I will be using the drone only for pleasure, no racing, and only to take pictures and movies as I travel around the country.

Do any of you have any recommendations. I have been told the Fat Sharks don't work with the DGI products.

DJI has goggles that will fit over your glasses, but I'm not sure about the fan ventilation.

Have you considered a larger device like a tablet?

I have an Apple iPad mini4 that works well.

Thanks for the prompt reply. First I tried using iPad mini when I was out in Sedona last week and the sun was so bright I could not see the screen. It appears that if I am going to use an iPad or I-phone, I have to place myself in the shade.

Do I need to get anything (additional lenses, etc.) to adjust my sight when I use the goggles, as I don't know how my subscription will effect what I see?

DJI does make corrective lenses that fit in the goggles and are purchased separately.

Before purchasing DJI goggles, which I highly recommend, if the ipad mini 4 worked, consider staying in the shade.
The goggles will add complications, likely require focus fixers (brand focus fixers - search via google; purportedly better than DJI version), and be one more battery to charge, though they do hold a 6 hour charge.

Thank you. I will continue for now trying to be in the shade. The cost and issues you have brought forward, along with the DGI goggles not having P.I.P. and being able to adjust the lenses like with binoculars make them less then the optimum choice.

You would think a company like DGI would be the leaders in goggles for their products and incorporate these benefits.

If you have a tablet mount for your mini4, I have this sun shade/hood that works well.

The bottom piece has an access flap to touch the screen and the top further shades the screen and will allow you to put your face up to it to block out the light.

Folds flat for easy storage.

I have been using a Mavmount with a Pad Hat sun shade. I’m using this with a full size iPad.
If I want a quick and easy setup I have a cheap sun shade that snaps on my iPhone 8+ which slides into the remote.
Do a search on google to set the brightest screen possible.
