Hi the gymbal on my 10 month old spark has stopped moving.

As I need to send it in for repair will they accept an eBay receipt?

Else any other suggestions?

Yes, proof of purchase from an authorized DJI dealer is all you need. Whether or not it's covered under warranty is something DJI will need to decide.

I don't think the eBay seller is authorised. He mentioned it was an unwanted gift.

Do I stand any chance?

Thanks for the advice so far.

Sent the drone in for repairs and as they found a scratch on the drone as it bumped into an object only a meter off the ground at very low speed and the battery popped out.

The gimbal threw a hardware error many months later for no reason.

Do you think DJI will give me any grief on a warranty repair for this?

The answer to this was YES.

They found a scratch on the frame. And I mean just a slight bit of damage maybe a fraction of a mm deep and decided to charge me to replace the entire frame and gimbal at US$200.

I raised a complaint and got them to waive some of this so got sick of back and forth settled at $60

Now it seems I will be sent a completely new spark unit. Will I lose all my settings?
